Washington Farrier Conference

September – Join us for several days of education, shoeing, and fun!

Our keynote speaker and clinician for our Fall Conference is Mr. Hank Chisholm, CJF from Mississippi. Dr. Cassie Torhorst Wallor, DVM will be giving an interactive lecture on lameness o Friday.  Mary Taft-McPhee will be giving a lecture on Saturday about Financial Success for Farriers.  Brian Sterlow, CJF will share his tips with Sharpening Your Hoof Knife.  Josh Cotton, CJF giving a demonstration on The Blacksmiths Bouquet.

 
Friday 9/24 at 9am 20 min. (2) person team Eagle eye.
One person sees the foot, one person shapes the shoe.
 
Saturday 9/25 at 8am 1hr. Keg Class (4) shoes
Pair of fronts w/toe clip. Pair of hinds with safed toe. KH Standard Max size 1.
1 hr. Handmade Class Pair of 3/4 Fullered barshoes 14” of 3/8×3/4
 
Sunday 9/26 at 8am Shoeing Class
Keg class: Shoe 1 foot w/ keg shoe 60 min. No specimen.
Handmade Class: Shoe 1 foot w/ plain stamped shoe 60 min. Toe clip front or quarter clip hind. No specimen.
