Washington Trainer Wins ‘Distinguished Trainer’ Award

May 2, 2016 – Washington based trainer, Kim Lacy, wins ‘Distinguished Trainer’ Award at this years AiM Show at the Oregon Equestrian Center. The ‘AiM at the Hood’ is the Sport Horse qualifying show for the Region 4 and Region 5 Arabian shows, encompassing competitors from Washington, Alaska, Oregon, Idaho, and Western Montana.

KKLLThe ‘Distinguished Trainer’, show award sponsored by Janet and Jeff Jones of Thunderhill Arabians, is based on a trainers performance at the show, in and out of the ring. Per Sarah Asby with AiM, “Kim did an outstanding job of juggling clients, horses and her rides with professionalism and calm.”

Kim had a few words for her clients. “So very proud of our group this weekend! There were a lot of blue ribbons and milestones achieved which I am very proud of but your team spirit, camaraderie, sportsmanship and just plain overall funness made the show! I am so excited for the rest of the season and thank you guy so much for the opportunity to ride your horses and be your coach!”

Kim is a USDF bronze, silver, and gold medalist and competed successfully Nationally at the FEI levels on self trained horses. Many of her students have also won at the Regional and National levels.
