Snohomish and Skagit County Vet Clinics Combine Equine Emergency Care

June 2016 – In the coming months, you may have a different veterinarian respond to your equine emergency.

Mount Vernon Veterinary Hospital and Northwest Veterinary Clinic of Stanwood are cooperating to provide emergency services to better serve our clients. This collaboration will create one of the largest and most progressive equine healthcare providers in Snohomish, Skagit, Island, and Whatcom Counties.

Clients will now have access to a total of six equine veterinarians including two board certified equine surgeons and a board certified internal medicine specialist. Quality of care for equine patients will continue to be a top priority. Providing coverage 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and the process to contact the veterinarian on call will not change. Simply dial the office number of your regular veterinarian, and the answering service will send the message to the veterinarian on call.

You can have complete confidence in all of the equine veterinarians and their ability to provide a consistent high level of care. Communication among all of the veterinarians will be emphasized to assure continuity of care.

The collaboration will begin June 6, 2016. Please feel free to call either Mount Vernon Veterinary Hospital at 360-424-4054 or Northwest Veterinary Clinic of Stanwood at 360-629-4571 if you have any questions.vet
