Firefighters Aid Horses in Northwest Wildfires

Fire Fighters cropped image to use

As the wildfires continue in Eastern Washington.
“They fight fires, cut fences so livestock has a chance against the fire, go back and while putting out hot spots take time to water the livestock they saved by letting them get out and away from the on coming flames. You all have bigger hearts and courage than most people will ever know!” -Janet Burts

Photo was taken by Aubrey Burts on 8/22/2015.  In the area of Okanogan.  This property was in the path of the Concunully Fire ( aka Okanogan complex).
Shortly after this picture was taken Evva Burts came with a horse trailer and relocated these horses to a safe place.
