About This Website

Did you know the Northwest has one of the nation’s highest concentrations of horse owners and equine businesses?  We do!  And NW Equine is here to tie it all together, connecting horse people like you to the services, products, groups, events and facilities you might need. NW Equine is a young and growing website designed and managed by horse people.

But we can’t do it without you!  If you have news, events, articles, listings or ads to contribute, please do, to help make this website as comprehensive as can be: the one-stop shop for everything horse in Northwest.

Here are just a few of the things you can do at NW Equine:

Use the Calendars to find Northwest horse events, located East and West of the Cascade Mountains, with larger events shown in both.

  •  The Calendar lets you search for equine events by date, event category or tag.
  •  Events can be printed or shared by email and social media.
  •  Do you have an upcoming equine event? Add it to the Calendar!

Search the Directory for equine and equine-related businesses, clubs, and groups.

  •  You can look for businesses by name, category, discipline, breed and location, or browse the list of 130+ categories.
  •  Locate Northwest equine Associations, Clubs, Groups and Org’s.
  •  Listings highlighted in blue offer additional images and information. With a second search option for the services/amenities offered by:
    • Alternative/Integrated Medicine.
    •  Boarding
    •  Farrier/Trimmer
    •  Instructor/Trainer
    •  Veterinarian
  •  Locate the business you want, print their profile, share it by email or social media, and save to your NW Equine account favorites list.
  •  Encourage the equine businesses you know to be part of this directory!

On the ‘to do’ list is the Library for articles, video, links, and other resources on a variety of information related to horses and horse care.

  •  Library articles can be printed or shared by email and social media.
  •  Did you read a helpful article or watch a useful video? Submit it!

Keep up with Northwest equine news:

  •  Our news section offers the latest information on Northwest equine activities, accomplishments and other news-worthy information.
  •  Do you know of news? Send us your news!

As we continue to create, develop, and edit sections of the NW Equine website.  Help us get our Northwest equine community connected, spread the word about NW Equine and all the resources we offer!

What are the NW Equine website users and business owners saying…

“The calendar on NW Equine has become THE most valuable tool for us 4H Moms!  Where have you been all of our lives?!  We love how all of the shows and events in our area are included by date and discipline. We also love the added trail events for our 4H Trail Program girls!

Thanks so much for putting it all together in one place! You are saving us hours and hours of digging and copying and pasting and pulling our hair out! “
